Home Shack
In the home shack we usually are operating on the following two radios:
For HF, we run an Icom IC-7300 currently connected to a Spooltenna EFHW but I’m planning to swap it out with my kit-built ARRL EFHW and moving the spooltenna to my portable kit.
For VHF/UFH we run an Icom IC-2200H into a SignalStuff OSJ. I’m hoping to upgrade that rig for voice communications and dedicate the IC-2200H to be a APRS digipeater soon.
Portable
For portable operations, we operate with a Yaesu FT-991A with a Super Antenna MP1DXMAX or a 4wave antennas vertical. Planning to add in a QRP rig at some point in the future for when the portable needs to be even more portable.
